About PHODOGRAPHY By Will
Hi, I’m Will. Welcome to my website and thank you for reading a little bit more about me. Dogs really are my life and have been for as long as I can remember. I love how unique and different every single dog is and I especially love listening to their owner's stories about them and the funny things they get up to. Dog photography gives me the opportunity to capture their amazing personalities for their owners to cherish forever and I count myself very lucky that I can be part of that process. I an an experienced photographer having taken professional photos of dogs for over 10 years now of a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Every single dog I've photographed feels like my friend.
I volunteer for local dog rescue Moorlands Dog Rescue and have fostered around 50 dogs in my own home where they have received lots of love, rehabilitation and training before going off to their forever homes. I also take photographs of the dogs who need to find their homes and the photographs help the rescue with their advertising and have taken the photographs for other local rescue Greyhound Gap's annual Calendar twice. My experience with rescue dogs means that I am very comfortable with dogs who are fearful in certain situations such as being in a new place. I am also very experienced when working with dogs who are reactive to other people or other dogs and there are lots of things we can do to make your dog more comfortable.
In my spare time I love training my four dogs Dolly the JRT, Layla, Alma and Gyp who are all rescue Working Cocker Spaniels. Fortunately they love posing as you can see from the photos below.
In May 2017 I was awarded 3rd place for the category of 'Dogs at play' in the Kennel Club Dog Photographer Of The Year. To date this has been my biggest achievement and it was such an honour to receive the award.
Thanks for reading
